Access Sharing

Access sharing grants other users access to your portal pages from their account. It's a secure way to share access to your Phone System without sharing passwords or providing access to your billing information.

It's useful if you want a 3rd party to manage your Phone System.

Here's how it works

Let's say Alice has a Phone System but she would like Bob to manage the configuration. First Bob gets a free account. Then Alice logs into her account and grants Bob access to her Phone System manager. When Bob logs into his account he see's there's a new menu with the Alices' manager page.

How to setup sharing

  1. Login and go to Account > Settings > Grant others access
  2. Enter the email address of the person you want to share with (they must have an account)
  3. Choose the page you wish to share from the drop down and click 'Add'.
  4. Enter your password to confirm the change.

A new menu will appear in the account you shared with which gives them access to all the pages you shared.

Note that a list of shared pages are shown under Account > Settings > Grant others access and you can remove sharing at any time.

The user you share with can not see your account or billing information.
