Preview – A mockup of the GUI Editor

We want this PBX to be as visual as possible, the first step when creating a new web app is to try and get a good visual sense of the application.
This is where much of the creativity comes in.
We want the app to be simple and usable, we want a clutter free space where building a PBX is intuitive and not threatening.

Based on ideas from other voice applications we created already for other services at Red Squared we use photoshop to build a mock-up of the main page.

Here’s how it looks (click for full view)

On the right we have a tool kit which has block functions we can drag onto the canvas to be connected.
Once all the blocks are added it’s a matter of connecting inputs and outputs.
