Preview – A mockup of the GUI Editor Posted on December 14, 2011October 27, 2017 We want this PBX to be as visual as possible, the first step when creating a new web app is to try and get a good visual sense of the application. This is where much of the creativity comes in. We want the app to be simple and usable, we want a clutter free space where building a PBX is intuitive and not threatening. Based on ideas from other voice applications we created already for other services at Red Squared we use photoshop to build a mock-up of the main page. Here’s how it looks (click for full view) Mock of lazy PBX editor when logged in On the right we have a tool kit which has block functions we can drag onto the canvas to be connected. Once all the blocks are added it’s a matter of connecting inputs and outputs.
